Google has taken their Street View technology and applied it to some of the most important tourist destinations and historic sites in the world. It's in its infancy but you can get a 360 degree view of Pompeii and Pisa in Italy or Liverpool, UK or Shark Bay Australia plus dozens more on five continents.
